The Website!
Well up until now I've been stuck in a rut...but thankfully something has grabbed my interest and I figured I should make a website for my work!!
Here are a few tasters while I sweat over some actionscript3, or ACTION SCRIPT THREEEEE!!! as that funny man on the video said.
Man I've not had fun like this in AGES. Flash is cool.
3D work
This was Lilly and my first attempt at VFX and i'd say it was pretty darn good! All things considered...
As a little personal project for my Dad I made these short animations. He wanted to explain something to a client but felt he couldn't draw what he was thinking. Done one weekend.
The header for this blog was created so I could put my favourite pair of boots on my business cards...personal branding etc etc...was a fun little model to make though!
Also fun was this bow and arrow I just whipped up for team Krokodi!
And this little slowpoke :]
And a fair chunk of last semesters time went on this girl for Wee Monsters!
...
I suppose I should also mention my dingied film, 'If you need a friend' which i planned on making until Diabetes tried to kill me...There was a blog for that, which you can look at here :]
And i'll do another post with what I'm trying to do with my VFX.
2D Work
So in Chronological order...
I did some inbetweening for In a Spin last year, the bit when she comes in and the close up scene at 0.44-0.49
Here was my 2nd Year After effects project which I loved doing.
And a still from the dress up game I made during our Flash project. You can play with it here :]
And something hand drawn for you! I did the keys for the first 10 seconds and inbetweened the last 10!
WORK DUMP!
I'm currently building myself a website in Flash so all my work has somewhere to live, but until I get that done (which should be SOON!) have a few bulk post of what I've done! (And managed to find...)

London
Our trip to London was invaluable. In three days, we visited 6 different companies in the Visual Effects industry; The Mill, Cinesite, Double Negative, MPC, Escape Studios and Smoke and Mirrors. We gathered so much valuable information that we couldn't possibly fit it into a 20 minute presentation. It has been great for us to find out first hand what these companies are looking for, and will no doubt help us when we come to apply for jobs. We found that everyone we met was more than happy to spend time with us, and we were with them for up to 2 hours each. We were given tours and all of our questions were answered.
I hope the presentation gets across how enthusiastic we were about this trip and how passionate we are about the industry. We have tailored the brief to fit ourselves so hope it will work ok!
